One of my favorite people passed away yesterday after a life filled with family, love and adventure.
Bob Pitman was someone that I loved to talk to. He had so many stories of the adventures in his life. He had a construction business in Portland, Oregon. Started over and had an electrician business in Scottsdale. Then he and his wife spent years sailing the carribean and making documentary films.
My favorite memories are of him and my children. Playing hide and seek with my daughter Alyssa at the spry age of 81 and sharing his love of Flan with my son Kyler. I am so glad they had the opportunity to meet him and were old enough that maybe they will tell stories of Grandpa Boat.
