Ryan and Kerstin!

Congratulations to Ryan and Kerstin! They had a beautiful day for a wedding at the Woodmark Hotel. It was also the first time I've heard Metallica played by a string quartet! You can see their photos here!

The Fourth!

We had a great time on the Fourth. We watched the parade in Edmonds, which my youngest was absolutely enthralled by. They had firetrucks AND tow trucks. Tow trucks are a new favorite since we saw Cars. Mater, as in TowMater! Then we moved on to a ferry ride on a beautiful afternoon and the kids fair in Kingston. There they got to ride in pedal cars and have sno-cones. Finally, we went to some friends home for a big party. I hit off of live pitching for the first time in 17 years, so what if it was with a plastic bat and a wiffleball! Then we watched a great fireworks display that they put on. I am in no way an expert at shooting fireworks and handholding a camera with a shutterspeed of 1 second or longer is a real trick, but it was fun! You can see our whole day here!
