Jeremy and Stacia!

Jeremy and Stacia were lots of fun (even though Jeremy didn't actually sleep the night before). I met them for the first time three years ago at Ryan and Kari's wedding. They actually used a photograph that I took of the two of them at R&K's wedding for their signature board! You can see their photographs here. They were married last Saturday at the Seattle Yacht Club. Stacia's hands just before the ceremony. You can feel the nerves! A little private walk after the ceremony with me spying! I love brick walls! First dance with the light streaming in from the window.

Another note!

I love these things. Here is the thank you note from Brian and Christy!

HI CORY!

WOW! The pictures are PHENOMINAL!! We knew we were hiring the BEST, but REALLY?! We’re overwhelmed with how amazing they look and can’t thank you ENOUGH for spending your Saturday with us. I love looking at the slideshow and it has been a real treat to be able to share the slideshow on your website with so many friends and family so soon!

I’m sure you’ll be in touch with us regarding next steps, the album, etc. but in the meantime I just had to let you know how THRILLED Brian and I are. We’re very much looking forward to working with you on the album!

I hope the rest of your weddings are going well! Thanks again for all of your hard work and BEAUTIFUL photography!

-Christy (& Brian) Smith

Ryan and Shannan!

Ryan and Shannan were great fun to shoot. I had a blast with them. You can see their photographs here! Ryan seeing Shannan for the first time in her dress. At the alter exchanging their rings! A portrait on the Edmonds waterfront (fancy flash work dude!). Happily dancing with his parents watching!

Brian and Christy!

Christy excited as she comes up behind Brian! This shot is one of my favorites I've taken lately. It would be great as a huge print on their wall. Anyone looking to buy Brian and Christy a present?!? The happy couple being hit with a beam of sunlight as they are being announced as husband and wife. This is their first dance. Beautiful light, beautiful sky and a checkerboard patio that matches their wedding colors! Brian and Christy had a beautiful day (luckily) and place for a ceremony. They were married on Saturday at Alderbrook Resort. You can see their photographs here.

David, Maureen & Family!

I love being the part of so many weddings. It is a celebration for bride and groom and, also, their families. I just received this thank you from a sister of the groom.
Cory, What an AWESOME job you & Matt did at my brother David's wedding! I'm the sister from MN. We flew in to surprise David & attend his wedding to Maureen. As I said, you did a GREAT job! It was so much fun with you 2 running around snapping pics here, there, everywhere! I have a couple photos of each of you on my camera still. You are such hams! Thanks for making their day so terrific & memorable & for taking the incredible photos for all to enjoy! Thanks again! Beth Reed
Above is a photograph I took of Beth kissing her brother, David. You can see David and Maureen's images here! I also just received a note from David and Maureen.
Cory,
Over and over again, from family, friends, and co-workers, we have heard (and agree!) about what a wonderful and amazing job you and Matt did. One woman wrote "There are so many great pictures. I also love the picture of you and Maureen after the ceremony when you are looking at your ring and then you are looking at each other...SO great! Your photographer really captured emotions. I wasn't even there and I still could feel how happy you guys were." She also said to me that you have a great sense of timing - where most photographers would click the shutter at a certain point, you seemed to wait and then captured the moment. You were a joy to work with, and honestly we didn't notice you, just like we asked. We look forward to seeing the proofs and the eventual album - we have our work cut out for us, as there are so many images that move us and speak to us. Thank you.
David and Maureen
My job is great!

I love my job!

It is so great to have a job where people appreciate what you do for them! I received this thank you note from Emily and Will last night. They thanked me for their album and the personal touches and even included a photo they took of themselves with the album! It makes me glad that I'm not an IRS agent! (Condolences to those IRS agents out there). You can see Will and Emily's final album design here. Their wedding themes were based on their lives. They are both officers in the Navy, love biking and coffee shops. Their album was made of Cappucino colored leather and an image. Their interior mats were Navy blue and white. I also added some cool flip pages for them. Thanks to Will and Emily for letting me a part of their wedding and taking the time to write!
