Read MoreOne of my favorite wedding venues in Seattle is Imperia Lake Union. Awesome art deco feel makes everything look cool. It is a little tricky to shoot in because of the lighting, so it is satisfying to have them look cool. All of the images have at least one flash with some as many as three.

I don’t think it is fair to call something like this an elopement because their families were there and it is exactly the size they wanted even though these sorts of small wedding are commonly called elopements.
Willows Lodge is a beautiful space in the popular winery and tasting room area in the valley south of Woodinville and north of Redmond. We made a last minute change in plans and had the wedding in the garden.

I've been told that the speed that I move to create new scenarios along with my explanations of what I'm doing and the stories I tell help my subjects feel more relaxed. So many people dread having their photographs taken, so I try to make it as fun as possible.

The views an the rocky beach made for some beautiful images. They also had everything set up for an amazing dinner. Very fun!
