One of my favorite wedding venues in Seattle is Imperia Lake Union. Awesome art deco feel makes everything look cool. It is a little tricky to shoot in because of the lighting, so it is satisfying to have them look cool. All of the images have at least one flash with some as many as three.

S&C were married on the rooftop of the Municipal Court of Seattle. It is a really beautiful spot for an elopement or small wedding. We started at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel before going to the court for the ceremony.

J&S had a beautiful March day for an micro wedding at Willows Lodge in Woodinville. I don’t think it is fair to call something like this an elopement because their families were there and it is exactly the size they wanted even though these sorts of small wedding are commonly called elopements.
Willows Lodge is a beautiful space in the popular winery and tasting room area in the valley south of Woodinville and north of Redmond. We made a last minute change in plans and had the wedding in the garden.

Branding portraits for a tech CEO
In a little less than an hour, I photographed this CEO in 7 different places with four different lighting setups including up to 3 flash units. I've been told that the speed that I move to create new scenarios along with my explanations of what I'm doing and the stories I tell help my subjects feel more relaxed. So many people dread having their photographs taken, so I try to make it as fun as possible.

Just a short ferry ride from Seattle is Vashon Island. This wedding was held at an AirBNB with just immediate family. It was a short, heartfelt ceremony performed by one of their fathers. The views an the rocky beach made for some beautiful images. They also had everything set up for an amazing dinner. Very fun!

Chelsea and Michael are such a vibrant couple! Our Seattle adventure began with portrait sessions in the historic Pioneer Square and along the bustling waterfront before their intimate wedding ceremony at the Seattle Municipal Court. Following the heartfelt vows, the celebration continued at The Underground, where Malort shots (alongside delicious cocktails and pizza) flowed freely among friends. We even ventured into Seattle's fascinating old underground for some unique and artistic photos.
