Nicole and Colin are a fun and entertaining couple. I met them at Discovery Park for their Seattle engagement portraits. I love how much they laugh together.

When you get a fun couple together in a beautiful place, my job can be really easy.

Playing a bit with the new flash system. Good range!

Sometimes one of the hardest things to do with photography is to create the illusion that people are alone in the space that you are using to take photographs. For this image, I placed them in the tall grass rather than on the path. Then I shot from a low, crouched position in the sticker bush to hide the people walking on the path and taking photographs of the lighthouse. The illusion worked until I gave it away, right?
