Until I shot a wedding on the Washington State Ferry system, I had no idea that you could, or that it was allowed! What a cool, beautiful and spectacular place to have a non-traditional wedding. Check out my photographs below or check their website for more information.
I met Keli and Garren at the Bainbridge Island Ferry terminal on the waterfront in Seattle. It was a hot and smoky day, so it led to some interesting haze and some intense colors later in the evening. After going to and from Bainbridge Island on the ferry, we walked to Pier 62 for some sunset images.
Emily and Scott met at work in Spokane. They both work in broadcast journalism. They are funny, entertaining, and are obviously very smitten with each other. I met them at the Bainbridge ferry terminal in Seattle for their engagement portraits. We bought walk-on tickets and took photographs all over the boat. After our ride, we walked up to Occidental Square and took some portraits on the top of a parking garage. It was fun!
