A friend of mine and I were talking about taking photographs just for the fun of it. So I got out the camera, a 50 fixed lens and started taking photographs within a two minute walking distance (in the house). I took a couple that I like and then handed the camera to my 11 year-old daughter to play. Here’s what we came up with!

The last three are Alyssa’s. Didn’t she do a great job?!? She is lobbying for me to use her as a second photographer at a wedding. Anyone interested?

It is always fun to have new and interesting projects. I actually think it makes me better at my main job of photographing weddings. Here is a 90th birthday party that I covered for the family of a wedding couple I did about a year ago. I hope I look this good when I’m 90. You can see a slideshow from the party here.
Other fun projects I have lined up right now include a photographer’s shootout in Seattle next month and a the Firefighter’s Stairclimb to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in March.

David and Maureen’s album is now available to view. You can see it here. David and Maureen were married at The Hall at Fauntleroy. Flowers were by Floressence.
Kim and Casey were a great, creative, and fun couple. You can see a little of their personality in the image below (the pose was all them). Kim is also the only bride I’ve ever had write me a thank you note during the reception, which made me feel very special! Here is what they said.
Hi Cory,
Your pictures look beautiful and everyone who has been looking at them
on the website has wonderful things to say about your pictures. They
have said that your web show is the best they have ever seen before.
Thanks again Cory, you did an amazing job.
Kim and Casey
Congrats again to Kim and Casey. You can see their slideshow here.
