Seattle Wedding Photographer - Cory Parris

About Cory Parris Photography

I am a wedding and portrait photographer in Seattle. I create emotional photostories. I love photography. I love all the technical aspects of f-stops, shutter speeds, megapixels, photoshop, and lighting. I love the art of photography in the composition, angles, bokeh, point of view, and the way the technical changes the art. More than even the art, I love the expressions and emotions that people portray in their face, body language, and hand positions. Along the way, I have met a lot of great people, gotten to photograph some pretty cool things, and had a lot of fun. I am very happy to have chosen a career in photography. I also have an amazing wife, Leslie, and three fantastic children. Life is good. Have any questions? Call me - 425.637.8852

Jon & Amber’s Wedding!

Wednesday, March 14th, 2007

Last July, I had the privilege of photographing Jon and Amber’s wedding at the Parson’s Gardens and the World Trade Center in Seattle. They have been very supportive of my business and are constantly referring people to me. As a gift for their support, and since they didn’t get an album with their package, I have made a small album for them. This is a book style album similar to what you would find in Barnes and Noble with very high quality printed soft pages. You can see it here!

This is the album cover with the front of the book being on the right, their names on the spine, and the text and logo on the back of the book.

Cool New Website!

Monday, March 12th, 2007

I’ve created a new website that I think is really cool. It features some of my wedding couples, their stories and the wedding vendors that they would recommend from their own weddings! I love the stories of how people met, fell in love and then, of course, got married! Check it out, see what you think, post a comment, or submit your story! I have two stories up now and one more coming within the next couple days. Hopefully, I will get every couple this year to contribute! Seattle Weddings Online.

Firefighters’ Stairclimb!

Friday, March 9th, 2007

I had the great honor of photographing the annual Firefighters’ Stairclimb in Seattle last Sunday. It was an inspiring event benefitting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS.org).

A bride from one of the weddings I photographed, Kristin Howard, contacted me about shooting the event. I’ve gotten to know her family pretty well over the years. I have shot her former boss and her brother’s wedding. I love to keep in touch over the years and I love to help with nonprofit events.

Enjoy the images and make a donation to LLS!

I’ll be printing three of my favorites for auction at their black tie dinner.  The printing will be done by (and paid for) by ProDPI.  Thanks to Jeff and Caitlyn at ProDPI for their generous help!

David & Kellie’s Photographs!

Friday, March 9th, 2007

David and Kellie had a beautiful wedding Saturday.  The ceremony was at the gorgeous chapel at Villa Academy in Seattle.  The reception was at the newly remodeled and renamed Hotel Deca in the University District.  You can see the slideshow and complete wedding here.  Let me know what you think!
