I am a wedding and portrait photographer in Seattle. I create emotional photostories.
I love photography. I love all the technical aspects of f-stops, shutter speeds, megapixels, photoshop, and lighting. I love the art of photography in the composition, angles, bokeh, point of view, and the way the technical changes the art. More than even the art, I love the expressions and emotions that people portray in their face, body language, and hand positions. Along the way, I’ve met a lot of great people, gotten to photograph some pretty cool things, and had a lot of fun. I am very happy to have chosen a career in photography. A couple years ago, I photographed the wedding of Dan and Elizabeth at Willows Lodge. Today I had the honor of photographing their first child, Mac. How cool is that?

Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS) is a fetal disease that kills two times the number of infants each year that SIDS does, but few people have ever heard of it. A client of mine from years ago called me and asked me to photograph inaugural TTTS Race for the Cure 5k here in Seattle. So this rainy Sunday, I took my family down to the event. I’m sure the turnout would have been better if it had been even a little nicer weather, but what can you do?

The race winner. You can see a little how the rain played havoc with the photography - highlights bleeding into the darker areas because the rain on the lens is refracting light!

Nancy and Erik were married May 12 at the fabulous Church at Fauntleroy and the Hall at Fauntleroy.
They were a great couple that are obviously very happy!
