I am a wedding and portrait photographer in Seattle. I create emotional photostories.
I love photography. I love all the technical aspects of f-stops, shutter speeds, megapixels, photoshop, and lighting. I love the art of photography in the composition, angles, bokeh, point of view, and the way the technical changes the art. More than even the art, I love the expressions and emotions that people portray in their face, body language, and hand positions. Along the way, I’ve met a lot of great people, gotten to photograph some pretty cool things, and had a lot of fun. I am very happy to have chosen a career in photography. I had a great time with Kelley and Robert last Saturday. They were a very fun couple and they were married at the beautiful Cove at Normandy Park. You can see their slideshow here!

Jessica & Alex were a lot of fun to photograph. We went to downtown Bellevue. They were willing to do whatever, and I had a blast!
While trying my hand as a wildlife photographer, I completely cheated. I went to the zoo and brought the family with me!

I’ve never been serious about entering contests, but I decided to give it a go with the most recent WPJA (Wedding Photojournalist Association) contest. I basically received an “honorable mention” type of placing in the “Wedding Ambiance” category. It’s fun to have it recognized.
