About Cory Parris Photography
I am a wedding and portrait photographer in Seattle. I create emotional photostories. I love photography. I love all the technical aspects of f-stops, shutter speeds, megapixels, photoshop, and lighting. I love the art of photography in the composition, angles, bokeh, point of view, and the way the technical changes the art. More than even the art, I love the expressions and emotions that people portray in their face, body language, and hand positions. Along the way, I have met a lot of great people, gotten to photograph some pretty cool things, and had a lot of fun. I am very happy to have chosen a career in photography. I have been using the RedCart system for over a year as my online viewing and ordering system. They are coming out with a new version (due out February 1) and they will be featuring my images in the demo! I don’t think I’ve ever purposely scheduled a portrait session for after dark before! I’ve done it in the morning, after dark during a wedding when there wasn’t a choice, and at sunset, but never said, hey it would be cool to do it in the dark!
For the photographically interested, these images were taken with a mix of natural light (or darkness as the case may be), with flash and with flashlight!
