I am a wedding and portrait photographer in Seattle. I create emotional photostories.
I love photography. I love all the technical aspects of f-stops, shutter speeds, megapixels, photoshop, and lighting. I love the art of photography in the composition, angles, bokeh, point of view, and the way the technical changes the art. More than even the art, I love the expressions and emotions that people portray in their face, body language, and hand positions. Along the way, I’ve met a lot of great people, gotten to photograph some pretty cool things, and had a lot of fun. I am very happy to have chosen a career in photography. I have been using the RedCart system for over a year as my online viewing and ordering system. They are coming out with a new version (due out February 1) and they will be featuring my images in the demo! For the photographers out there, be sure to stop by their booth and see the demo (and my images) at the DWF convention!
I don’t think I’ve ever purposely scheduled a portrait session for after dark before! I’ve done it in the morning, after dark during a wedding when there wasn’t a choice, and at sunset, but never said, hey it would be cool to do it in the dark!
For the photographically interested, these images were taken with a mix of natural light (or darkness as the case may be), with flash and with flashlight!
