Welcome!

cory-mug-color-smile I am a wedding and portrait photographer in Seattle. I create emotional photostories.

I love photography. I love all the technical aspects of f-stops, shutter speeds, megapixels, photoshop, and lighting. I love the art of photography in the composition, angles, bokeh, point of view, and the way the technical changes the art. More than even the art, I love the expressions and emotions that people portray in their face, body language, and hand positions. Along the way, I’ve met a lot of great people, gotten to photograph some pretty cool things, and had a lot of fun. I am very happy to have chosen a career in photography.

I also have an amazing wife, Leslie, and three fantastic children. Life is good.

Here’s Ky enjoying some sugary fluff. At what age do adults stop liking that?

The love of my life, Leslie. The most amazing wife any guy could ever hope to have. We also had our 14th wedding anniversary and her birthday this week.

Kaz - World’s Strongest Man

Bill “Kaz” Kazmaier came to the Bothell YMCA last Friday. StarTrac, the exercise equipment company that sponsors Kaz’s tour, hired me to photograph some of his “strong man” activities.

Lifting a child with one finger. The event was open to the public and my family (well, the boys) decided they had to go see the World’s Strongest Man. And my daughter made herself useful by holding an umbrella during the bus pull!

Here Kaz is rolling a frying pan up with his hands! Um…I don’t think I can do that.

Rut & Willvin - Engagement portraits #3

So I met up with Willvin & Rut for a third round of engagement portraits. They are going to have three books at different spots at their reception for their guests to look at. One set from fall in Leavenworth, one in winter and one set taken on a beautiful spring day. Here is the last set for the spring.
