Here are the promised images of little Jack. He is incredibly cute with his big eyes and cheeks.

I love the serious expressions on his little face

And one last serious portrait of a content little man!

About Cory Parris Photography
I am a wedding and portrait photographer in Seattle. I create emotional photostories. I love photography. I love all the technical aspects of f-stops, shutter speeds, megapixels, photoshop, and lighting. I love the art of photography in the composition, angles, bokeh, point of view, and the way the technical changes the art. More than even the art, I love the expressions and emotions that people portray in their face, body language, and hand positions. Along the way, I have met a lot of great people, gotten to photograph some pretty cool things, and had a lot of fun. I am very happy to have chosen a career in photography. I also have an amazing wife, Leslie, and three fantastic children. Life is good. Have any questions? Call me - 425.637.8852

I have two images for the picture of the day. They are both from Amanda and Jesse’s wedding at Waverly Country Club in Portland. I really think that hands show a lot of emotion. With these two images, you can see the nerves in both the bride’s hands before the ceremony and the groomsmens’ hands during the ceremony.

Yesterday was my birthday. I celebrated by going to a Sounders FC game with my incredible middle child. He is more than just a little fanatic about the Sounders. We have been the old USL Sounders games before, but this was a completely different atmosphere. While before the Sounders had 3,000-5,000 at a game, last night it was a sellout at almost 28,000. We had a blast. Here are a few images of our adventure from my point & shoot camera. I thought about taking my good gear, but didn’t relish the thought of trying to keep it dry as we stood outside for three hours! That’s what a point & shoot is for, right?

Ky Made a sign for my birthday. He walked next to me and we had about 20 people tell me happy birthday.

After a few minutes at the band performace, I realized that we were standing next to Drew Carey, minority owner of the Sounders FC and star of the Price is Right!

Here is Ky standing next to Drew Carey. Evidently it was Drew's birthday, too!

Random fan.

Going into the stadium.

This is three images stitched together of the stadium before the match started.

Ky took a photo of his favorite player. Ky plays goalie, too!

Can't go to a Seattle sporting event and not get garlic fries, right?

The view from our seats. Not that we sat, but we were in the rabid fan/band/chorus section. Quite fun!

And finally, a short video of our experience taken with the point & shoot camera!
The picture of the day is an engagement portrait from last spring at Gasworks Park. I met Jessica and Dave close to sunset so that we could get some images with dramatic lighting. The image below is one of my favorites of the day with all the lines, the warmth of the light and the long shadows.

The picture of the day this time is Miriam and Dean during their first dance at the Woodmark Hotel in Kirkland. You can just feel the emotion from this image in her expression, body language and hand position.
