Every religious group has their own spin and take on the marriage ceremony. One of my favorite rituals is the signing of the Ketubah from the Jewish tradition. Quite often the Ketubah is a hand painted piece of art created just for the couple that represents the two of them, their relationship, and their faith. I have a love of different traditions and cultures (thus all the classes on culture and religion that had nothing to do with my major in college) and love to see how so many people getting married try to honor all of their varied heritages.
