About Cory Parris Photography

I am a wedding and portrait photographer in Seattle. I create emotional photostories. I love photography. I love all the technical aspects of f-stops, shutter speeds, megapixels, photoshop, and lighting. I love the art of photography in the composition, angles, bokeh, point of view, and the way the technical changes the art. More than even the art, I love the expressions and emotions that people portray in their face, body language, and hand positions. Along the way, I have met a lot of great people, gotten to photograph some pretty cool things, and had a lot of fun. I am very happy to have chosen a career in photography. I recently took Ali & Cam’s engagement portraits at the UW (University of Washington for those reading from odd places outside of the great Pacific Northwest). I had a great time with them, Cam’s mom and their little dog. Here is a set of some of my favorites. I can’t wait until their wedding!

I went to Krissy & Chris’ home in Seattle to take their engagement portraits. They were a lot of fun to hang out with and photograph. We started the session in their home with a white background for a few classic black and white images then took a walk around their neighborhood.

Annie & Ryan – Engagement Portraits in Bellevue!

Here is the whole set of Annie & Ryan’s engagement portraits in the downtown Bellevue area. Annie and Ryan were a lot of fun to photograph. They are very happy together and up for whatever I had in mind – including laying down on the ground in a parking lot! I can’t wait to photograph their wedding next month!
