I am a wedding and portrait photographer in Seattle. I create emotional photostories.
I love photography. I love all the technical aspects of f-stops, shutter speeds, megapixels, photoshop, and lighting. I love the art of photography in the composition, angles, bokeh, point of view, and the way the technical changes the art. More than even the art, I love the expressions and emotions that people portray in their face, body language, and hand positions. Along the way, I’ve met a lot of great people, gotten to photograph some pretty cool things, and had a lot of fun. I am very happy to have chosen a career in photography.
I also have an amazing wife, Leslie, and three fantastic children. Life is good.

Elaine and Keith are from Singapore. They wanted to get married in the Pacific Northwest. They chose Blessed Sacrament in Seattle as their destination and me as their photographer. Here is the really unique part - they were married during mass! It was a surprise to all of the attendees. Very cool. After the wedding, we went to the University of Washington for some photographs.

This is Father Daniel. He is conducting mass before the wedding. I love the light coming through the smoke of the incense.

I love Blessed Sacrament. It is beautiful.

Blessed Sacrament is a beautiful church both inside and out.

I love the lines leading to the couple from the cobblestones and over them from the tree.

I met Lori at North Creek Park the north end of Bothell. We had to delay her senior portraits because of knee surgery - no one wants a leg brace in their portrait session! So we ended up shooting on a beautiful, cold day in December. Lori was a trooper, though and didn’t even flinch when I told her to sit on a patch of ice!

April is an aspiring photographer and she chose me to photograph her family! It is always an honor when photographers and aspiring photographers have me photograph them and their family. I had a great time photographing April and her crew of boys!

We returned to one of my favorite alleys for some of the images.

I love the mohawk style spikes. It made for some unusual family portraits!

I love this rather unusual portrait of the three boys!

I photographed Ben & Sarah’s wedding a few years ago. They are a great couple and I was thrilled when they called to have me do some baby and family portraits. We met at Gasworks and dodged the rain showers to take some family portraits.

I love this image of the family with the Gasworks in the background

I love this image. Her little feet in focus and the parent's bigger feet out of focus.
