I am a wedding and portrait photographer in Seattle. I create emotional photostories.
I love photography. I love all the technical aspects of f-stops, shutter speeds, megapixels, photoshop, and lighting. I love the art of photography in the composition, angles, bokeh, point of view, and the way the technical changes the art. More than even the art, I love the expressions and emotions that people portray in their face, body language, and hand positions. Along the way, I’ve met a lot of great people, gotten to photograph some pretty cool things, and had a lot of fun. I am very happy to have chosen a career in photography.
I also have an amazing wife, Leslie, and three fantastic children. Life is good.
Emily and Jeff are a great couple. They have a great energy about them and they laugh all the time. It made for a great time taking their portraits around the Olympic Sculpture Park.
I love how Emily is laughing in this image. Jeff definitely entertains her!
Let me know what you think of the processing on this one. I wouldn't do it very much, but I like it for the occasional image. I think...
Malori and Matt are a great couple and I had a blast hanging out with them and their friends on their wedding day. It was my first visit to the Spirit of Washington Event Center. It had a cool, kind of funky feel to it inside with the rounded ceiling and long open space with exposed beams.

I love this candid portrait of Malori taken during the reception.
