I am a wedding and portrait photographer in Seattle. I create emotional photostories.
I love photography. I love all the technical aspects of f-stops, shutter speeds, megapixels, photoshop, and lighting. I love the art of photography in the composition, angles, bokeh, point of view, and the way the technical changes the art. More than even the art, I love the expressions and emotions that people portray in their face, body language, and hand positions. Along the way, I’ve met a lot of great people, gotten to photograph some pretty cool things, and had a lot of fun. I am very happy to have chosen a career in photography.
I also have an amazing wife, Leslie, and three fantastic children. Life is good.
Colleen and Scott are a great couple and I loved photographing their wedding at the beautiful Semiahmoo Resort.
The tulips in front of the sign at Semiahmoo were beautiful

One of my favorite things to do at weddings is to take photographs of some of the guests as they talk and have conversations. I have included a few today because I noticed that I don't show them very often on the blog.

I really liked this image of the flower girl and her mother
April and Vas were married at the Edmonds Yacht Club. The Yacht Club is just finishing up their rennovations to make it a very nice location with great views of the marina and just down the street from a couple of great beaches.
This is the front of the new Edmonds Yacht Club. It is nearly finished.
Vas wrote his own vows. Very cool way to score points! :)
April chose a spot by herself to put on her make-up.

The day was sunny, but with low-lying clouds in the distance making the clouds and water kind of merge on the horizon. I liked the look for this image.
I really liked thi image of the bride's grandfather. It just stood out to me.
