I am a wedding and portrait photographer in Seattle. I create emotional photostories.
I love photography. I love all the technical aspects of f-stops, shutter speeds, megapixels, photoshop, and lighting. I love the art of photography in the composition, angles, bokeh, point of view, and the way the technical changes the art. More than even the art, I love the expressions and emotions that people portray in their face, body language, and hand positions. Along the way, I’ve met a lot of great people, gotten to photograph some pretty cool things, and had a lot of fun. I am very happy to have chosen a career in photography. Emily and Jeff are a great couple. They have a great energy about them and they laugh all the time. It made for a great time taking their portraits around the Olympic Sculpture Park.
I love how Emily is laughing in this image. Jeff definitely entertains her!

Here is one image from my recent engagement portrait session with Rebecca and Erwin. The plan had been to get some amazing views of Seattle to show all their friends and family at their wedding in Taiwan, but it stayed foggy far longer than we thought it would. This image with the fog behind them, I thought turned out really cool.
Gabrielle and Michael are getting married next year. Before that, though, we did some engagement portraits at a private residence in Medina. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful place.
I had a great time with Stacey and Tony taking their engagement portraits. We started at Husky Stadium and then went to Gasworks Park. It was an absolutely beautiful day.
