About Cory Parris Photography
I am a wedding and portrait photographer in Seattle. I create emotional photostories. I love photography. I love all the technical aspects of f-stops, shutter speeds, megapixels, photoshop, and lighting. I love the art of photography in the composition, angles, bokeh, point of view, and the way the technical changes the art. More than even the art, I love the expressions and emotions that people portray in their face, body language, and hand positions. Along the way, I have met a lot of great people, gotten to photograph some pretty cool things, and had a lot of fun. I am very happy to have chosen a career in photography. Sara and Daniel were married five years ago. I was very honored to photograph their wedding. I was even more honored to be photographing their fifth anniversary! It is so cool to be their photographer again! If you want to see a few images from their wedding you can find them here.

I met Pam and Richard at St. Edwards Park in Kenmore for some engagement portraits. I had a great time talking to them and hiking around the park.

This weekend we had a beautiful day for engagement portraits. With Noella and Niraj we met at Husky Stadium. They wanted a generic stadium to go with their University of Michigan gear for their save the date cards. No one intentionally ran us down with their car as we were taking photos of Michigan jerseys in front of Husky stadium, but I think it was a near thing.
After the stadium shots we did some chalk drawings. Actually Noella did some chalk drawings while Niraj and I watched. And finally we finished up the shoot at Gasworks Park. Very fun!
I love that Noella drew a turban for Niraj to “wear”!
My idea behind this is to create a bookmark or possibly a ticket style save the date card (lots of space above the couple for text and design.

Nicole & Spencer came in from Boston to spend the holidays with their family. While they were here, we did some engagement portraits in Woodinville. Very fun!
