I am a wedding and portrait photographer in Seattle. I create emotional photostories.
I love photography. I love all the technical aspects of f-stops, shutter speeds, megapixels, photoshop, and lighting. I love the art of photography in the composition, angles, bokeh, point of view, and the way the technical changes the art. More than even the art, I love the expressions and emotions that people portray in their face, body language, and hand positions. Along the way, I’ve met a lot of great people, gotten to photograph some pretty cool things, and had a lot of fun. I am very happy to have chosen a career in photography.
I also have an amazing wife, Leslie, and three fantastic children. Life is good.

Rob is the CEO at Medio, a company that works with cell phone companies. If you have internet on your phone, you have probably seen their work, but it probably said “Verizon” or another provider on it! He needed some images for his media kit, and I photographed Brian’s (Chairman & CTO) wedding last year. Here are some of my favorites. There will be more coming this week!

I liked the angle and branding on this image

It was nice that they had the branding installed in their office!

I really like this headshot. Makes Rob look like a great guy to work for!
I love getting new and different opportunities to create images that are outside of what I normally do. This is the second time that I’ve gotten to do a portrait session for American Motorcyclist, which is the magazine of the American Motorcyclist Association. Tom Mehran is a local guy that runs a couple of online publications including Sound Rider that contributed an article for the magazine. I was very happy with what we came up with. I met Tom down at Golden Gardens a little before sunset, set up some lights (I love my radiopoppers!), and created some dramatic sunset portraits. Very fun!

This was my favorite image from the session!

Doug is a broker and financial adviser at D.A. Davidson at Redmond Town Center. Nice guy!

I have taken executive portraits for the Redmond office of D.A. Davidson (the only investment firm I’ve ever heard of based out of Montana) for years. This last time, they wanted me to create some portraits for their wall of fame. Images of the brokers that are worthy of being honored. Here are the first guys that are going to be on the wall!
