Seattle Wedding Photographer - Cory Parris

About Cory Parris Photography

I am a wedding and portrait photographer in Seattle. I create emotional photostories. I love photography. I love all the technical aspects of f-stops, shutter speeds, megapixels, photoshop, and lighting. I love the art of photography in the composition, angles, bokeh, point of view, and the way the technical changes the art. More than even the art, I love the expressions and emotions that people portray in their face, body language, and hand positions. Along the way, I have met a lot of great people, gotten to photograph some pretty cool things, and had a lot of fun. I am very happy to have chosen a career in photography. I also have an amazing wife, Leslie, and three fantastic children. Life is good. Have any questions? Call me - 425.637.8852

April’s Family – Portraits in Everett!

Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009

April is an aspiring photographer and she chose me to photograph her family! It is always an honor when photographers and aspiring photographers have me photograph them and their family. I had a great time photographing April and her crew of boys!

We returned to one of my favorite alleys for some of the images.

Portrait Books

Monday, March 23rd, 2009

Portrait books are one of my favorite products I offer. Everyone wants a bunch of really beautiful images of themselves, their family and their children. However, it is not really practical (or very nice looking) to completely wallpaper your home with photographs. A portrait book lets you put together a lot of images in a way that is beautiful, can be displayed, and can easily be shown to family and friends. Say “No!” to loose images in a shoebox! We can make a beautiful book from any session – engagement, child, family, high school senior – and it looks great for all of them.

Here is an example of an engagement portrait album. This one is a hard, black linen cover with a metallic dustjacket.

Here we can see the binding and paper. The images are printed on photographic paper and mounted on board so the pages lay flat.

I love that with Sandy and Billy, we went someplace fun. We went to rides at Seattle Center for some images.

Anna’s Senior Portraits!

Tuesday, October 14th, 2008

I met Anna and her mom, Melissa, down at the Olympic Sculpture Park for her senior portraits.

One of the great things about photography is getting to know people. I met Steve Gehrig about four years ago when he officiated Jurgen & Kendra’s wedding. Then I photographed Steve’s daugther, Christy when she married Brian. Then I photographed Steve and Melissa’s wedding. Anna is Melissa’s daughter. See how that works. I also photographed Christy’s best friend, Jayme when she married Matt this last summer. Jayme and Christy also know Gwynna and Eric, who know Kate and Jon, as well as Karen and her husband Joe, all of whom were married this year. Cool!

And now for the photos and the end of my written drivel!
