I am a wedding and portrait photographer in Seattle. I create emotional photostories. I love photography. I love all the technical aspects of f-stops, shutter speeds, megapixels, photoshop, and lighting. I love the art of photography in the composition, angles, bokeh, point of view, and the way the technical changes the art. More than even the art, I love the expressions and emotions that people portray in their face, body language, and hand positions. Along the way, I have met a lot of great people, gotten to photograph some pretty cool things, and had a lot of fun. I am very happy to have chosen a career in photography. Diana & Brad | Wedding at Ray’s Boathouse in Seattle!

Diana and Brad had a beautiful and interesting wedding at Ray’s Boathouse in Seattle.  They combined beautiful flowers, couture gown, amazing shoes, the beautiful views at Ray’s, a Jedi to guide you to your seats and a R2-D2 robot for a cake.  How cool is that?

Candid and portrait are two words that don’t always seem to go together.  In this case, I made this portrait of Diana while she was talking.

Kristel & Mikhail – Wedding at the Palace Ballroom in Seattle!

Kristel & Mikhail were married at the beautiful (and delicious) Palace Ballroom in Seattle. They are a great couple with a great sense of fun that wanted to make sure we made it to Top Pot doughnuts. Their theme was Alice in Wonderland, and the pulled it off beautifully with a little help from Michelle of Married with Michelle.

Kristel's sisters started out singing Somewhere Over the Rainbow, but then it morphed into an original song based on "Double Rainbow" of YouTube fame. Hilarious!

Emily & Jeff – Wedding at the Woodmark!

Emily and Jeff had a beautiful day for their wedding at the Woodmark Hotel in Kirkland. The sun was shining, the lake was beautiful, and the couple wasn’t too bad, either! A couple of my favorite wedding vendors were there in the form of DJ Austin Beaver, officiant Annemarie Juhlian and Janel of Ocassions. I also got to work with Flora Nova!
