Here is one image of Ali early in the day from her wedding. This was taken at the Bellevue Club in their hotel room. I was very happy with this image.

Gwynna and Eric are great fun and I had a blast at their wedding.

The getaway truck. The old truck that will never be a classic! It is Eric’s and it shows their personality. Nice wedding and er…nice…truck!

The cake topper was from the wedding of Gwynna’s grandmother.

A bridesmaid and her husband. I really liked this quiet moment amidst the band starting to play and the volume going up.

The Beatniks may be my favorite wedding band of all time.

The speeches were very entertaining. Eric actually told me that he was scared about the best man speech. At his best man’s wedding, Eric told a mortifyingly embarrassing story. So bad that I’m amazed that Eric still has that friend. Therefore, Eric was a little apprehensive about what was going to be said about him. He let him off the hook, though. Here the father of the bride is reacting to a toast that his son, Gwynna’s brother Duke, said. Fun stuff.

Jackie & Andrew!
Tuesday, October 30th, 2007Jackie and Andrew were a great couple. My buddy John Chin came with me and we had a great time photographing the wedding. It was fun seeing many people that I knew from previous weddings! You can see their slideshow here.
Ceremony: Bastyr University Chapel
Reception: The Bellevue Club

I rarely post group photographs, but I like this one with the wedding party laughing, the amazing sky and light that spotlights the couple.

For the photographers out there, this is taken with completely available light. 1/20 at f1.4 at 1600. The camera compensated for yellow-green color from the flourescent light in the nearby post and that resulted in the cool colors in the background. This is basically straight out of the camera and is not a photoshop effect.

Always trying to catch some of the background story of the day and making it interesting.

The outside of the gorgeous Bellevue Club.

The best man got the Chicken Pox. He was then quarantined from infecting the rest of the wedding party, family and guests. Therefore, he wrote the speech and another groomsman presented it. The poor best man then had to listen to his own speech over the phone.

The groom’s father getting a little help during the toasts.

This is Erin. She and her husband Adam were married two years ago and I was honored to be her wedding photographer. She was the ring-bearer’s companion during the wedding ceremony.
