Seattle Wedding Photographer - Cory Parris

About Cory Parris Photography

I am a wedding and portrait photographer in Seattle. I create emotional photostories. I love photography. I love all the technical aspects of f-stops, shutter speeds, megapixels, photoshop, and lighting. I love the art of photography in the composition, angles, bokeh, point of view, and the way the technical changes the art. More than even the art, I love the expressions and emotions that people portray in their face, body language, and hand positions. Along the way, I have met a lot of great people, gotten to photograph some pretty cool things, and had a lot of fun. I am very happy to have chosen a career in photography. I also have an amazing wife, Leslie, and three fantastic children. Life is good. Have any questions? Call me - 425.637.8852

I love my job. Not only do I get to do the portraits and the cool, emotional candid moments, but I get to take photographs of little things and try to make it look like art.

Liz and Brian at the Mukilteo Lighthouse!

Friday, February 13th, 2009

I had a great time with Liz and Brian at the beach, lighthouse and the Ferry landing area of Mukilteo. It also worked out that it was the most beautiful day in a couple weeks!

I used a flash and radiopoppers (version 1) to light the couple and keep the dark blue skies.

Kelly & Nash Post-Wedding at the Mukilteo Lighthouse

Monday, October 13th, 2008

Kelly and Nash had planned for a beautiful summer wedding at the Mukilteo Lighthouse. However, on the day of their wedding it rained…and rained…and then the weather got really bad and it started to rain sideways. So they moved the ceremony to the reception location at the last minute. And Nash’s car broke down on the way to the wedding. They still had a beautiful and heartfelt ceremony, just not the one they planned! So we went to the Mukiliteo Lighthouse for a set of fun photos on a beautiful Fall day!

Kelly & Nash at Floral Hall in Everett!

Thursday, September 11th, 2008

Kelly and Nash took the fact that it poured down rain all day on their wedding day in August in stride. They had planned an outdoor ceremony at the Mukilteo lighthouse, which is now surrounded by a beautiful new park. Weather reports didn’t look good, so they scrambled to get tents for their guests set up. About an hour before the wedding, the fact the rain was blowing sideways into the tents at their beautiful waterfront location necessitated a move of the ceremony to the reception site on the fly. All of this and it ended up being a beautiful, heartfelt ceremony.

It was a fun and entertaining day. Kelly and Nash embraced the whole change of plans thing and rolled with it. Very cool.
