About Cory Parris Photography
I am a wedding and portrait photographer in Seattle. I create emotional photostories. I love photography. I love all the technical aspects of f-stops, shutter speeds, megapixels, photoshop, and lighting. I love the art of photography in the composition, angles, bokeh, point of view, and the way the technical changes the art. More than even the art, I love the expressions and emotions that people portray in their face, body language, and hand positions. Along the way, I have met a lot of great people, gotten to photograph some pretty cool things, and had a lot of fun. I am very happy to have chosen a career in photography. Elizabeth and Steven are great. I love the way they laugh together. Steven proposed at the Conservatory at Volunteer Park, so it seemed like the natural place for the engagement portraits. Some people just make things more fun. Elizabeth and Steven are like that!

Jess & Scott live in Boston, but are getting married on Orcas Island. They were in town this week and we took the opportunity to go to Volunteer Park for some engagement portraits. Very fun couple!

I love to take portraits in available darkness. This image was shot at 3200 ISO for all the photogeeks like me out there!
