I am a wedding and portrait photographer in Seattle. I create emotional photostories. I love photography. I love all the technical aspects of f-stops, shutter speeds, megapixels, photoshop, and lighting. I love the art of photography in the composition, angles, bokeh, point of view, and the way the technical changes the art. More than even the art, I love the expressions and emotions that people portray in their face, body language, and hand positions. Along the way, I have met a lot of great people, gotten to photograph some pretty cool things, and had a lot of fun. I am very happy to have chosen a career in photography. Lorissa grew up on a wheat farm, so they had lots of wheat around at the wedding.  I used some of it for a ring photo.

Kalani | Engagement Portraits at Pike Place | Sneak Peak

One image of a future groom by himself.  I took this as part of their Pike Place engagement portrait session in Seattle.  It was taken in a rather dark alley during the daylight hours.  I used a flash to completely knock out the ambient light and put a spotlight on Kalani.
