Megan and Daniel are a great couple. I had a great time photographing their wedding. We started at their home where they were getting ready. We went to the University of Washington Campus for some portraits before going to the Lake Union Cafe for their wedding and reception!Read More
I met Amy and Lincoln at UW for some engagement portraits with the cherry blossoms, then went to Gas Works Park.
I love the campus of the University of Washington. The Cherry Blossoms are beautiful! The trick is to get the cherry blossoms without all the people taking photos of and in the cherry blossoms. Here is one from today of Lincoln and Amy!
Martina and Ron had a beautiful, windy day for their Lake Union Cafe wedding. We started at a hotel in the Northgate area. The plan was to go to Gas Works Park for the portraits, but with the wind, we called an audible and did portraits at the University of Washington. Then, we went over to the Lake Union Cafe for the wedding ceremony and reception!

I recently had the opportunity to take portraits of James Jiambalvo, Dean of the University of Washington's Foster School of Business. While I was there I also took some photographs of some of the faculty.
Edit: Since this has been published, the name has changed from the Shilshole Bay Beach Club to the Ballard Bay Club. I've blogged a couple images from Christena and Colin's wedding, but I realized that I didn't put up a complete set of my favorites! They had a beautiful day and both of their venues were pretty great, too. We started at University Lutheran for the wedding, did some wedding portraits at the University of Washington, and went to Shilshole Bay Beach Club for reception!
Christena and Conor are a fantastic couple. It is a blast to spend the day with so many fun, good people. Their wedding was at University Lutheran Church. The reception was at Shilshole Bay Beach Club. In between, we made a stop at the University of Washington for some couple and wedding party portraits. Christena and Connor had a beautiful day for their Seattle wedding. We went to the University of Washington for some wedding portraits. Here is one.
I had a great time hanging out with Jen and Gregg taking portraits at Pike Place and the UW. Fun stuff.
A note for photographers. The image above and the image below were created using flash with Radiopoppers. The main advantage to Radiopoppers in my mind is the ability to change the manual flash settings on the remote flash from the on-camera flash. Saves walking and pushing buttons!
One more technical note for the photographer readers - All the images were processed in Lightroom and no commercial action sets were used.
