I met this family at their new downtown apartment. We took some photographs in their building with a very similar view to what they have from their apartment. The original plan was to do more in their place, but they only moved in a few days before the shoot. From there, we walked to Pike Place Market and the surrounding area. As part of the session, I also did a couple of headshots for Dinah for her medical spa in Los Angeles.
Taryn and Mark are a wonderful couple. You just know how they feel about each other when they look at each other. Taryn has an infectious laugh that you can tell that Mark loves. She is from South Africa and he is from Texas. They live in Seattle and that is where they eloped. I think the Seattle Municipal Court is one of the most beautiful places you could elope and it has to have the best views of any court weddings. Check out their beautiful wedding images!
I had a great time photographing this family at Golden Gardens! Their boys are so fun!
I photographed Kayleigh and Andrew’s wedding several years ago. Now I get to photograph them with their kids. I love that. Check out the images of their family and their beautiful little girls!

They started by getting ready and seeing each other for the first time at Willows Lodge just around the corner from their wedding ceremony and reception location, Novelty Hill Januik Winery. After photographing their joy at seeing each other on their wedding day, we went to the winery for some more portraits and then a very private ceremony on the patio behind the winery. After their ceremony, they had a reception party for their friends and family. Novelty Hill Januik Winery has amazing food and wine. They also had a live musician, a magician, and a game truck.
This year the Out & Equal Summit was held in Seattle at the Washington State Convention Center. Out & Equal is an organization that works with corporations to educate and implement strategies for creating LGBTQ+ equality in the workplace. This year, they had over 6000 people attend their Summit here in Seattle. It was an amazing experience for me and for the attendees.
Here are a couple of families that I met at the Washington Park Arboretum for some kids and family portraits. I love photographing kids and families and there are so many great places around Seattle for the portrait sessions. The Arboretum has to be on the top of the list most times of the year, but especially in the fall.
Several years ago, I photographed Kate and Pete’s wedding. Now I get to photograph their growing family. I met them at the Arboretum this year for their portraits.
I met Stephanie and Bradley at Gas Works Park for some sunset and night engagement portraits featuring the views of Seattle across Lake Union. I love shooting at Gas Works. It has amazing views and fun industrial areas to photograph in.
Virginia and Jacob are a wonderful, talented couple. They play multiple instruments and sing. I'm jealous.
I started at their apartment where Virginia, family and bridesmaids were getting ready. Then we met Jake and his groomspeople at Fremont Peak Park for the first look and some portraits. After that we went to their wedding and reception location, the Fremont Arts Abbey.

Pamela and Luke are an amazing couple! They met when they were both attending West Point where he played football and she played soccer. Pamelia, Luke, their family and friends were a riot. They were funny, goofy, adventurous and very loving. Check out the images!
Lauren is a high school senior and a very serious dancer. She practices hours a day and went to Europe for a ballet academy. Check out her senior portraits at the Olympic Sculpture Park and Myrtle Edwards Park
Klaudia and Justin are a very funny, smart, and sweet couple. We met on the campus of Seattle U for their first look and some portraits. Then we went to their wedding and reception venue, 10 Degrees Seattle on Capitol Hill. It is a cool and funky place that is attached to OOLA Spirits next door, which is where they had the bar and cocktails after the ceremony. They also had a tasting later in the evening. The main entertainment for the reception, besides the food and people, was an aerialist. Fun stuff!
Angela and Jason were married at the Seattle Municipal Court in front of the family and friends. It was a beautiful day for a wedding as we walked around downtown Seattle for their portraits after the ceremony.
I met Chef Shannon at Pike Place Market in Seattle for her new business portraits. It was a fun shoot to do. I really enjoy having the newer area of the market to work with so close to the more traditional feel of the place that is so vibrant.
I met this beautiful family at Heritage Park in Kirkland for their portraits. Their boys are adorable!
Lindsay and Jake had a beautiful wedding day at Willows Lodge in Woodinville. They have an amazing family and groups of friends.
Nadege and Juan were married on the rooftop deck of the Seattle Municipal Court. After the wedding at the courthouse, we went to Kubota Garden for some portraits.
Adriana and Maurizio had a beautiful Seattle wedding on MC Skansonia Ferry on Lake Union. Everything happened on the boat. They saw each other for the first time when she walked down the aisle. The amazing views across the lake and the fantastic group of friends and family made for an amazing evening.
I first met this family 19 years ago when I did newborn portraits for their middle child. He is going off to college in a few days. Check out their latest portraits!
Robyn and David had a beautiful day for their wedding at The Landing at Tyee. After getting ready they saw each other for the first time underneath the giant Willow tree at South Passage Point Park down the block from The Landing at Tyee. Then we went for a boat ride around Lake Union and came back to The Landing at Tyee for the wedding and reception.
Klaudia and Justin are getting married in less than a month! I met them at Marrymoor Park in Redmond for some evening and sunset engagement portraits.
I met Chelsey and Robin at the Seattle Municipal Court for their wedding. It was a beautiful (hot) day. We walked around downtown Seattle for their portraits with their puppy before heading to the Seattle Courthouse where they had a wedding on the rooftop deck.
Wendy and Chris had a beautiful day for the wedding at Willows Lodge in Woodinville. We started with getting ready images in the lodge. Then we took portraits around the grounds with them, their small wedding party and then their family. They had an outdoor wedding in the beautiful gardens that are shared by Willows Lodge and the Herb Farm restaraunt. The cocktail hour was also outdoors. The food at Willows Lodge is always excellent. Later in the evening they had dancing, smores in a fire pit and finally they escaped into the night.
Angela and Poy are a great couple with a very fun group of family and friends. We started the day at the Seattle Sheraton where they were getting ready. It was raining so we took the first set of portraits around the hotel and under the eaves on the streets of Seattle around the Sheraton. Then the 60 of us got onto a bus to go a few blocks to the Seattle Municipal Court for the wedding ceremony. I believe they were the biggest group to have a wedding at the Seattle Courthouse to date.
