Marketing Photography for a Construction Company

I love working with marketing teams to come up with new art for small businesses. For this one, a construction company needed new photographs of their people, some teamwork or work culture type photographs, and some on-site photographs to illustrate a piece of what they do.

We started with portraits of all of their key people. A lot of construction companies use these business headshots in their proposals to show the team members that are going to work on a project. These marketing photos also get used on social media like LinkedIn and sent out in press releases and all those marketing things.

We also did some photographs of people walking and talking together, looking at plans, and having discussions. These will be used as website art to replace any sort of stock on a site that makes the company look less trustworthy. A website that uses stock photos rather than commission commercial photography pieces are just less trustworthy in the eyes of a viewer while seeing employees on the website before speaking with them or meeting them in real life creates a stronger connection. These photographs also make the company look like a good person to work with, or they can be used for recruiting because who wouldn’t want to work with these people?

Finally, we went to one of their local work sites to get a few of their people working and some portraits of the brothers that own the company. For a few of those, I pulled out some lighting gear to create some fun and cool images.
