Building Access, One Ramp at a Time: Documenting the MBA KS Rampathon

It was a privilege to photograph the Rampathon for the Master Builders Association (MBA) of King and Snohomish Counties again this year. As a Seattle photographer, events like these highlight community efforts and make a difference in people's lives.

What is Rampathon? The MBA KS Rampathon is a public service event where volunteers from the building industry construct custom-built accessibility ramps for individuals in King and Snohomish Counties who need them. These ramps provide mobility solutions, offering independence and improving homes for people with limited mobility. It's an example of corporate social responsibility driven by our local building community.

Using my lens to highlight such a community service initiative makes me feel useful. Seeing the dedication of the MBA King and Snohomish Counties volunteers, building not just ramps, but connections, is inspiring.
