Behind the Scenes: Documenting the Rise of Alexan Bothell with Graham Construction

Documenting large-scale commercial and multi-family developments during active construction is one of the most dynamic parts of visual storytelling. Every stage of a build reveals a distinct phase of engineering—from raw structural geometries and tower cranes overhead to the coordinated energy of trades on site.

I partnered with Graham Construction to capture active structural progress on Alexan Bothell, a flagship mixed-use residential development in downtown Bothell, Washington. Photographing a project before completion highlights the sheer scale, craftsmanship, and structural frameworks that are eventually hidden behind finished walls.

One of the best perks of being a commercial photographer is the "backstage pass" that comes with the job. I get to walk into buildings and construction sites most people only see from the street and witness the fascinating, complex work that keeps our world running.

Building Access, One Ramp at a Time: Documenting the MBA KS Rampathon

It was a privilege to photograph the Rampathon for the Master Builders Association (MBA) of King and Snohomish Counties again this year. As a Seattle photographer, events like these highlight community efforts and make a difference in people's lives.

Seattle Construction Photography

I went from my place in Seattle up to Bellingham to do some portraits for a construction client. While I was there, I pulled out some extra gear and made some fun portraits of the guys. I always have fun photographing construction photography and I’m very happy to have such an eclectic mix of clients.

Marketing Portraits in Seattle | Graham Construction

I really love creating portraits of people. When I create marketing portraits for businesses, I try to help my subjects relax so they can have their natural, friendly smile. Appearing warm, real, and relaxed helps to make them look like people you would want to work with. Check out these business portraits and headshots I did for Graham Construction last week. They will be using these in the proposals and bids as well as for press releases, website, and other marketing.
