In a little less than an hour, I photographed this CEO in 7 different places with four different lighting setups including up to 3 flash units. I've been told that the speed that I move to create new scenarios along with my explanations of what I'm doing and the stories I tell help my subjects feel more relaxed. So many people dread having their photographs taken, so I try to make it as fun as possible.

I met Sarah downtown for some personal branding photography. Personal branding is new photographer speak for business portraits with a wider range of uses than just a headshot. In the past, I called them environmental portraits, and they are one of my favorite things to shoot. For Sarah, she speaks at conferences and things like that, as well as writing things for people in her industry. We worked on creating portraits of her that mostly made her look fun to go to her speaking engagements.
